Many at times we tend to measure a man success by his length of life rather than what he had achieved within the limited time given him. One may live long; and his life may not have been counted for much such as Methuselah. Another's life may be brief and yet still continue to bring many generations to the light of God such as Jesus Christ.

One may even be so rich and after his demise all his wealth went away, another could be so poor, yet her MITE will be spoken of for generations ahead.

Hmmm! it’s not really how far, is it? It’s really how well.

Brethren today is the most important day of your life because yesterday is out of your reach, tomorrow has its own mystery but today comes with lots of time and potentials and that is why it is called the PRESENT. Make good use of this present it will not always be there.

If we can just take a day at a time; to do good, to touch lives positively, to bless, to dream, to visit, to give, to build, to pray, to fast, to give thanks, to love, to appreciate, to forgive, to tell someone about Jesus Christ, to save a soul, before we know it we would have achieved so much that it doesn’t matter when God decides to calls us home.

We would be able to say i have played our part in the stage of live where the Almighty reigns forever.

TO SOME HE IS THE ALPHA, THE OMEGA, THE BEGINNG, THE ENDING AND THE ANCIENT OF DAYS. WHILE TO OTHERS HE IS HIGHER THAN THE HIGHEST, HE IS GREATER THAN THE GREATEST, AND YET TO SOME HE IS THE REASON FOR THEIR EXISTENCE.

JESUS ONCE ASK HIS DISCIPLES; “WHO DO MEN SAYS I AM?” ASKING THAT QUESTION DOES NOT MEAN JESUS DOESN’T KNOW WHO HE IS, RATHER HE WANTS TO KNOW HOW MUCH OF HIM HAVE PEOPLE KNOWN, WHAT ASPECT OF HIM HAS PEOPLE DISCOVERED THROUGH THEIR FAITH.

IT IS ONE THING TO READ ABOUT HIM, IT IS ANOTHER THING TOTALLY TO EXPERIENCE HIM.

WAIT A MINUTE! WHO IS JESUS TO YOU?

IN WHAT WAY HAVE YOU EXPERIENCED HIM? HOW MUCH OF HIM HAVE YOU REALLY COME TO DISCOVER DURING YOUR WORK WITH HIM?

THE BIBLE SAYS TO THOSE THAT KNOW THEIR GOD, SHALL BE STRONG AND DO EXPLOIT. THE MORE OF JESUS YOU KNOW, THE MORE OF JESUS YOU GET.

THIS IS A NEW YEAR, HOW MUCH OF JESUS ARE YOU GOING TO DISCOVER IN THIS GLORIOUS YEAR?

THE BIBLE SAYS EYES HAVE NOT SEEN HEARS HAVE NOT HEARD, NEITHER HAS IT ENTERED INTO THE HEART OF MAN, WHAT THE LORD IS READY TO DO FOR THEY THAT LOVE. DRAW NEAR TO THE LORD AND HE WILL DRAW NEAR TO YOU.

THE FRIEND THAT STICK CLOSER THAN A BROTHER(JESUS) AWAITS YOUR CALL  TODAY. DON’T KEEP HIM WAITING!

Moses had gone out with his men to fulfill his social obligation as he sought refuge with one of the Philistines’ lord but their offer was rejected and they came back home to meet emptiness… Their wives and children were nowhere to be found, their properties were carted away with the rest burnt down with fire.

The twin emotion of such circumstance sorrow and grief came into play: grief and sorrow. The thought of doing anything about the situation was momentarily forgotten, then his men in annoyance thought within themselves why not stone David, yes he caused it all!

 Just like many of us when we are confronted with the challenges of life; maybe we lost a love one or a precious thing. We just want to lie down in that state of self pity and make sorrow our covering. We look out for that man/woman who was remotely connected to the circumstance.

Not until David realizes that the devil is not just going to be satisfied with stealing his wives and children, nor in destroying his properties but in killing him by incensing his men against him. That he stood up and encouraged himself in the Lord and went forth. And he not only PURSUES and OVERTAKES but he also RECOVERED ALL.

We all need to wake up to reality and leave that state of grief, rise up as we drop the covering of sorrow. Encourage ourselves in the Lord and take the necessary actions, Because the Devil our real adversary will stop at nothing until he fulfills his three fold mission: TO STEAL, TO KILL AND TO DESTROY.

The world says: when there is life, there is hope.

The Bible says: Christ in you the hope of glory.

Something wonderful is waiting for you just around the corner as you trust God in that present circumstance you are going through.

So many times we tend to believe more on what we can see than those things we can't see. Have you heard this phrase before "i know God will provide, but he won't come down from heaven" or even after a major victory, people will often ask " how did you achieve this feat, dont tell me its God alone"

Avast majority of christians even though acknowledged God, they like Thomas, still want to see the physical thing and this has led many people into having a backup plan.

Today, we have many christians who despite listening to the word of God, still secreatly visit spiritualists should incase 'God' fails them. Many students still engage in exam mal -practices should incase their 'prayer' is not answered in time. Some christians still engage in all sorts of stealing and money rituals; because they either don't believe God can meet their needs or they believe He is too slow.

I was once told of  an accident that a  respected 'minister of God' was involved in and how he died in a gruelsome manner, i was so moved that i pray that God will have mercy on him and he will be revived. When i slept, God showed me the true life of this minister; he had two wives without the legal wife knowing anything about it. His reason was probably that the legal wife could only bore him a child.

What are you doing in secreat? You think God is not seeing you. You think because he is quiet, he does not know, be not deceived, whatever a man sow, he will reap. Heaven is real, Hell is real, dont wait until you get into hell before you belilve it actually existed. Be prepared!

Put all your trust in God without PLAN B and you will find out He is more than sufficient to meet all your needs.

Our Lord’s Prayer was the first prayer that our Lord Jesus Christ taught us and in it we can see all the attributes of an effective prayer.

But then as you progress in the Christian race, as you walk closely and intimately with Jesus Christ, your prayer life begins to take a new dimension. Things begin to change; you begin to spend more time with him. An hour with God becomes too little; you want to be with him more and more.

To me prayer means God seating in front of me, with his majestic frame and I in his front, talking to him and the Holy Spirit orchestrating me on what to say and at what time to say it. I have often find out that by doing this I end up spending longer hours in God's presence more than I could have done on my own.

I found out that prayer isn’t about how much time you spend, but how truthful and heartfelt it is. Do you feel you are talking to a friend with a listening ear? Or you are just talking to a void without the expectation of a reply

To me prayer is a deep relationship with God, it’s a meeting point where i get to tell Him about my achievement by His grace, my sins and my weaknesses and ask for His forgiveness, my plan for the month or year and he tells me what to do and how I should go about actualizing my desire.

What does prayer mean to you?

The heart of a man is deep, who can know it? If all that goes on in our heart can be read on our faces, one will perhaps not want to get close to some people. But such is not the case, as a matter of fact, the next person might be planning an attack against you and yet be laughing with you, such is the deception in the human race. If this deception is prevalent in the people of the world, perhaps one might have let it slide and not think too much of it, but you will be amazed the level at which such hypocrite is being practiced in the church of God, among the children of God.

A minister of God; having extra marital affairs, but who will stand on the altar of God to preach purity and holiness. A choir leader; who has affairs with ladies in the choir, yet gives angelic rendition on a Sunday service. The treasurer of a church; who siphon some into his own purse. Pastors; who lobbied for positions.

No wonder the bible says Judgment will begin in the house of God. Is it that Christians have forgotten the consequences of these things? Or perhaps they thought they will be exempted from its punishment? It leaves one to wonder what one hears in Christendom these days.

The devil has so delude so many people into believing that they can always ask for forgiveness later, it will be long before you die; so sin while you are young, when you grow old, you will surrender your remaining years to God.  You may not live to see next week! You may not be able to come back to Christ again because sin begot sins. Rapture might come anytime!

Are you truly wise? When you do those things in secret thinking nobody sees you, nobody will ever know. You lie! The bible says everything done in secret shall be made open.

Don’t lose focus of who you are and where you are going, don’t forget so easily what your soul cost God –Jesus Christ

Don’t forget that without holiness no man shall see God.

Finally don’t forget that at the end all other people wouldn’t matter anymore; not your pastor, not the congregation and certainly not the General overseer. It will be YOU and GOD.

FOR INDIVIDUAL; PARTICULARLY FOR THOSE WHO WILL LIVE A LIFE OF HOLINESS

1.THIS YEAR WILL BE A YEAR OF MIGHTY TESTIMONIES.

2.THERE WILL BE BIG CELEBRATION IN MANY HOMES.

3.THERE WILL BE MASSIVE RESTORATION OF LOSES OF THE PREVIOUS YEARS.

4.YOU MUST PRAY AGAINST KILLER DISEASE PARTICULALRY AMONG CHILDREN.

FOR NIGERIA:

1. PRAY FOR LONG LIFE FOR PROMINENT NIGERIANS.

2. THERE IS NO NEED FOR PANIC, ALL WILL BE WELL.

FOR INTERNATIONAL:

1. PRAY SERIOUSLY FOR INTERNATIONAL SCENE, PRAY AGAINST MASSIVE STORM AND EXTREME TEMPERATURE.

2. PRAYAGAINST MAJOR DISIASTER ESPECIALLY BY FIRE.

3. PRAY THAT GOD WILL SPEAK PEACE TO CONVULSING EARTH.

4. PRAY AGAINST CIVIL WARS AND CIVIL UNREST.

5. THERE WILL BE MAJOR DISCOVERIES IN THE AUTOMOBILE AND AVIATION INDUSTRY.

Do you know you will outlive the sun? Do you know that when the earth and the stars have all passed away, you will just be beginning your endless day - a time without end? Once you are born, you will never cease to live. You will live forever; you will be alive eternally. Eternity has no end. This is a solemn and fearful truth.
Suppose it were possible to tie a rope from the earth to heaven and an ant were to go to the sun and return on this rope, when the ant has done that a hundred times, then a small fraction of eternity has passed. Suppose a small boy were to empty an ocean with a cup, the time it will take the boy to do so is a very tiny part of eternity.

If it were possible to gather all the books that have ever been written in all fields of human Endeavour and in all languages, and a student were to read them one by one, the time he will spend reading all the books will only amount to a minute fraction of eternity. If a grain of sand represent one day, all the sand at the sea shore will represent only a small, negligible part of eternity. If a bird went to sharpen its beak once a year at a mountain, when the birds wears the mountain in this way, only an insignificant part of eternity  would have passed. ETERNITY! In short, eternity is life – time of the never – dying God. And you will be alive eternally. You will live for eternity, just as God is alive eternally. Once born, a person remains consciously alive for ever.

Eternity does not terminate at the time of death. Death is just another wrung on the ladder of eternity. It is only a gateway to eternity – eternity in heaven or in hell? There is “the resurrection of life” and there is “the resurrection of damnation”.

This may shock you, I pray it does.

There is no fence, You are either a Christian or a sinner. You will either live with God forever in heaven or live in hell forever with Satan. These are stark realities you must face.

       FOR INDIVIDUAL

• •1.       Stay under cover of the most high to avoid any storm that may come.
• •2.       There will be miraculous deliverance for some, particularly from accident.
• •3.       There will be some unexpected promotions and open doors.
• •4.       He says the second half of this year will be better than the first, although there will be galloping blessing from the very first day for some.

      FOR NIGERIA

• •1.       Pray for those who are in authority , that they will not abuse the constitution in order to avoid its suspension
• •2.       Intensive prayers are required to arrest backward sliding.

      FOR INTERNATIONAL

• •1.       The Lord says you should pray against outbreak of killer disease.
• •2.       Recovery from recession will be slow but steady.
• •3.       We must pray against natural disasters that are gathering momentum.

       FOR RCCG

• •1.       He said death will be few this year, but there will be some uprooting of plants that are not planted by God.
• •2.       He said there will be many miraculous recoveries in answer to prayers, but unrepentant sinners will contact incurable disease.
• •3.       He said an old star will shine brighter.
• •4.       He said many young stars will emerge.
• •5.       He said intensive corporate worship, will move the church on to greater height under open heavens.
• •6.       The Lord asks me to warn the youth; particularly against late night and keeping the company of doubtful character. (The reason He asked me to warn the youth is that; He is going to visit those people with doubtful character, so that the youth will not be caught in the wild fire).
